Theotim, Bishop of Tomis, known for his profound humility and close friendship with Saint John Chrysostom. One day, while celebrating the Divine Liturgy, barbarians attacked Tomis. Theotim, unarmed, went out to meet them, offering them bread and honey. Astonished by his peaceful demeanor and venerable appearance, the barbarians were disarmed and retreated, leaving the city unharmed. A true shepherd, he turned enemies into respectful observers through love.
