Yeah it's normal. In November it went up from around 69k all the way to just over 100k. It's come back to mid 80s. If you zoom out and look further back, it always happens but each time it's higher. Time in the market is better than timing the market. You'll see why 👇🏾
Here is the price of bitcoin if you look at it over the past 12 months. Looks like a big drop but still really good gains in just a year. You just happened to get on at the top of the coaster (like most people do).

But all along the way, most people thought they got on at the top too and panic sold as it was dropping. But you have to zoom out and see the long game. This is over bitcoins lifetime. See how tiny of a blip this "crash" really is. These huge peaks and valleys happen constantly, roughly every 4 years. But each mountain bitcoin summits is higher than the one before.
