✍️ Egyptologists believe they may have found the tomb of King Thutmose II, a pharaoh who lived around 3,500 years ago, in the Western Valleys of the Theban Necropolis near Luxor.
--
👉 The tomb is believed to be located below a 23-meter man-made pile of limestone, ash, rubble, and mud plaster
👉 The team found a posthumous inscription indicating the content could have been moved to a second location nearby
👉 The tomb is decorated with a blue-painted ceiling with yellow stars, a feature only found in kings' tombs
👉 Thutmose II is best known for being the husband of Queen Hatshepsut, one of Egypt's greatest pharaohs
