Then I get home and look on one of the local group chats where someone is looking for a place to rent up to 5k usd per month. The urgency for circular economies in Costa Rica is clear but it’ll be interesting to see if social cohesion can stand this insane cantillionaire effect of high budget North Americans flooding the country. It grows and grows and poster child of GDP in the media whilst talking to tico friends they’re concerned with the incredible levels of environmental destruction and increasing poverty index.
