The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, announced the development of a Disney-themed entertainment project on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, as part of a strategic partnership between 'Miral' and the American company 'Walt Disney'. The project will be the seventh Disney theme park globally, after those in California, Florida, Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. The project reflects the importance and position of the United Arab Emirates and Abu Dhabi as a leading destination in the global tourism industry, with a focus on creative and cultural economy, which is a key pillar in achieving the national strategy for cultural and creative industries. The project will be developed and built by 'Miral', while 'Walt Disney' will oversee the creative aspects and provide operational support, including designing entertainment attractions and developing tourist experiences. Upon completion, 'Miral' will also operate the theme park, leveraging its extensive experience in developing and managing several of the world's most popular theme parks and cities on Yas Island and Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with renowned American and European brands.
