Your perspective assumes that the universe is a self-perpetuating system, but the Bible makes it clear that God is not just a distant force who set things in motion—He is an intentional Creator who designed everything with purpose. The idea that everything just “interacted with entropy” until life and consciousness emerged is nothing more than repackaged randomness, which contradicts both logic and divine revelation.
Humanity isn’t a cosmic accident or just one of many possible outcomes; we were deliberately created in God’s image, set apart from the rest of creation. Yes, we’re a mess—because of sin, not because we’re insignificant. The very brokenness you point to is exactly why we need a Savior. Jesus Christ came to restore what sin destroyed and offer eternal life with God to those who choose Him.
As for the idea that there must be more advanced beings because of the "law of large numbers"—the Bible never even hints at anything beyond Earth. Instead, it focuses entirely on God’s relationship with us. If higher beings existed, Scripture would have said so. But it doesn’t, because Earth and humanity are the focal points of God's creation.
And you’re absolutely right about one thing: human understanding of reality is flawed. But that’s exactly why God gave us His Word—to reveal what we could never figure out on our own. You don’t have to guess what’s going on in "base reality"—God already told us. The truth is found in Jesus Christ, and He is the only way to truly understand who we are and why we exist.
