There are 3 male black grouse in field across the road, 4 Lapwing and one curlew. All are busy feeding.
It's a very blustery day so the grouse are staying close for shelter to the long grass in a sike that crosses the field. I was lucky to get a photo at all as they're not coming out. Winds are gusting 50-60mph and it's raining. Nice to see them here as they've been absent all winter.
