A woman is murdered every 10 minutes in the world JUST BY INTIMATE partners - UN. Over 370 million girls and women alive today (1/8) globally subjected to rape or sexual assault as children – UNICEF . Devastatingly pervasive: 1 in 3 women globally experience violence- WHO. They can't even seem to COUNT the number of women raped globally per year - in the US there is a sexual assault EVERY 68 SECONDS- RAINN . 82% of all juvenile victims are female. 90% of adult rape victims are female.
97% of sexual assaults are committed by men . And it's estimated the actual rate may be as much as TEN TIMES higher due to systems that silence survivors/victims.
THIS DOESN'T EVEN TOUCH ON THE RAPES AND MURDERS FROM WAR, CONFLICTS and PEACEKEEPING- where ALL of the violence comes from men.
And there is still going to be some men piping up to say to women. NOT ALL MEN.
