2025-03-01 17:44:36As macOS started getting kind of "iOS-y" -- Apple News using Catalyst, the weird reorganization of System Settings, etc. -- I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed these rough edges would be polished over the next couple versions. Instead, News on desktop -- now in its seventh year -- is still terrible, and now they're spending their efforts on things like Image Playground and AI summaries.
