Here is a good example to use to stir the pot for the awakening cycle.
Gold is real money. Fiat is fake money. It should have always been gold pricing fiat, not the other way around.
2008 vs. 2023
#Wheat:
- 2008: $7.00 per bushel.
- 2023: $7.00 per bushel.
- Increase: 0%.
#Gold:
- 2008: $870 per ounce.
- 2023: $1,950 per ounce.
- Increase: 124%.
Global Money Supply:
- 2008: ~$40 trillion.
- 2023: ~$140 trillion.
- Increase: 250%.
Wheat (#abundant) stayed flat. Gold (#scarce) rose 124%. Global #money supply exploded 250%. #Fiat inflates nothing, suppresses real money.
