I am cool with this guy, he’s using the tools he has at his disposal (billion dollar public company) to buy as much bitcoin as possible with convertible notes.
He probably found the infinity money glitch. He is playing with a broken system and doing a speculative attack on the dollar. Sounds cool yea…
But he’s not creator, a rockstar or a hero to worship like many bitcoiners do. I don’t get why people treat him like that.
Saylor has been around for less than 33% of the time that bitcoin has been around. He arrived at a time that Bitcoin was mature and was really easy to see the value. Many of us were here before him.
There’s so many people out there that did multiple times more significant things for Bitcoin and almost nobody knows them. They probably deserve more respect from Bitcoiners than Saylor because they built the foundation.
This is one of the things of Bitcoin going mainstream, the masses need a hero, they need someone to worship. But Bitcoin is here to empower individuals, not corporations and governments.
It is so sad to see how many people get confused and cannot see where is Bitcoin coming from and why it was created to do in the first place because of the actual state of things.
This does not mean that it will not continue doing all this things. But I don’t think this kind of people are helping bitcoin in any sustancial sense.
Idk I just wanted to say what I think.
What do you think?
