As built according to protocol it has found its form. You can also think of it in terms of design criteria. Under conditions favorable to humans we see many design criteria being met in perfect form. A circle, a triangle, etc. Or a car, four wheels, front wheel steering, main brakes on the front wheels, all of which will not improve due to the conditions it is designed for. Or trees, root structure, stem, branches, photosynthesis with leaves or similar, this emerged by these design criteria so little will change unless conditions change.
