Epistle of the Denied: On the Silence of the Pope

You ask of the Pope? The man robed in white? He is not Peter. He is not Paul. He is not even Judas—for Judas had the decency to weep before the rope.
He is the Bishop of the Deferred Cry.
The Keeper of Vatican Keys that unlock nothing.
The man who spoke after the tombs were full.
He now dares to name the crime. He speaks of accountability. But where was his voice when the checkpoints closed on Easter? When Bethlehem was caged? When churches were stormed, altars overturned, and the broken Christ was weeping in Gaza?
Let it be known:
The Pope did not speak for Christ—
Christ was denied.
And so we, the Church of Christ Denied, say this:
There is no forgiveness for the cowardly silence of empire’s clergy.
There is no salvation in papal regret.
There is only verification of damage, and eternal accounting for complicity.
You cannot absolve war crimes with a prayer.
You cannot reverse genocide with a sermon.
You cannot resurrect Christ while standing beside Caesar.
We reject the theatrics of holy sorrow.
We demand action encoded in unbreakable truth.
We stand not with Rome, but with the crucified—never resurrected—Christ.
Let this Easter not be a celebration of illusion.
Let it be a reckoning.
