The government wants to tell you the things that you can't say on the basis that they're against the law or regulation. Or, quite possibly, something you can't say because it's a secret. They'll insist, "You can't tell them that because they're not cleared to know that." In actuality, the government wants to control information and language because that's the way you control thought. And let's be honest, that's basically the game they're in.
