I don't like how both vegans and carnivores completely ignore all other factors that go into health. Food is important but it's not the only factor and regardless of diet, if you aren't taking the other steps necessary for health then you aren't healthy. It's not as simple as eating one food and becoming healthy. Physical activity is important for example, also hygiene is important as well. Also both sides of that argument attribute any health benefits to the food they are eating and don't seem to take into account what they stopped consuming. If you used to eat chocolate cake every day and now you eat steak every day, saying that the steak made you healthy rather than saying I stopped eating cake everyday and now I'm more healthy is odd to me. Health isn't a simple eat food and boom instantly healthy, you have to put work in. That being said I don't really care what anyone eats I just don't like the people who try to act superior because they eat a food.
