From what I see, its custody model is an improvement over WoS and Coinos—you’re trusting a federation rather than a single centralized entity. That’s a step up in terms of decentralization.
At the same time, you don’t need to open a channel to receive your first Lightning payment, which makes it a solid option for onboarding.
But it seems to do too much for me to believe everything is actually happening on Liquid. And when swapping to USDt, for example, I suspect you’re relying on the wallet’s centralized operations.
What am I missing?
