I kinda agree…
Fascism is just a flavor of totalitarianism
—but “Enlightened selfishness” is an Ayn Rand term that tends to fit well because with an exception to communism most governments become selfish as they consolidate power. (Selfishness is associated with conservatism)

In any case, its an interesting conversation for sure.
