So I had a conversation to my mom, who was an avid Kamala Harris supporter during the 2024 election and voted for her, about the actions DOGE is taking. She started talking to me about AIPAC and implied I should've picked "the lesser of two evils" instead of not voting. She gave a ridiculous hypothetical about a shooter with an AK-47 giving me the choice to either have him shoot me or a civilian nearby, otherwise he would kill us both if I refused to make a choice.
I am really getting sicked of this whole left-right paradigm thinking that my family members have each election year. Contrary to their views, not everything, especially candidates, is a black and white issue, but is actually a wide rainbow of choices. This is what they fail to get.
Instead of debating with yourself about who should die, figure out how to disarm the shooter.
TL;DR Binary thinking won't get you out of tyranny, meaning you have to think out of the binary, and I ain't talking about that queer crap!
