So, here’s a #FreeBSD question (although I’d be interested in the answer for #Linux or perhaps other BSDs too): for a portable device, is there a good existing way to do network configuration (bridging, routing, firewall, etc.) based on the network in which the system finds itself? For example, based on DHCP server MAC address and DHCPOFFER subnet?
NetworkManager on Linux supports it to some extent for wifi (SSID/pwd based) but not wired ethernet as far as I can tell?
