Ingredients
- 1 green pepper cut in 1 inch pieces
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 egg
- ⅛ teaspon black pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 ½ teaspon salt
- 2 tablespoon flour
- ¾ cup salad oil
- 1 cup chicken bouillon
- 2 ½ tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 oranges sectioned
Directions
- Cook green pepper in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Season ground beef with 1 teaspoon salt. Shape into 16 meatballs.
- In a large bowl, combine eggs, flour, ½ teaspoon salt and pepper. Stir. Coat meatballs with batter.
- Brown meat balls in hot fat. Add ⅓ cup chicken bouillon. Cover. simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir remaining bouillon into mixture of sugar and cornstarch until smooth.
- Add green pepper, lemon and soy sauce. Pour over meatballs, gently boil while stirring constantly.
- About 2 minutes, add orange sections and cook until heated.
