It’s frustrating to see politicians latch onto Bitcoin, twisting a tool meant for freedom and decentralization into just another lever for their own agendas. The whole point of bitcoin whitepaper was to cut through the centralized control middlemen, gatekeepers, and power-hungry suits. But when politicians jump in, hyping it up or pushing policies that suit their interests, it feels like a betrayal.
They’re not about empowering people, they’re about agendas, donors, or some hidden payoff. Bitcoin not a pawn in their game.
It’s gross how they cherry-pick what fits their narrative, championing it when it’s trendy, demonizing it when it’s not, all while ignoring the principles behind it.
They’ll back a digital assets bill if it lines their pockets or boosts their image, but screw the actual tech or the people using it. It’s the same old power grab, just with a shiny new wrapper. And the worst part? They’re tainting something that could actually disrupt their rigged system if they’d just let it be.
Bem, it’s enough to make you wanna scream into the social media.
