"'Fun' is a positive, creative feeling. Something new and special is being created in your life. But what women call 'fun' while partying is just numbness. It's not a positive feeling, it's just a temporary escape. But while she's partying she gets to escape all those problems. Going out clubbing gives her a chance to numb herself until her mind stops working. She can lose herself in the atmosphere, essentially trying to disappear as a person. She wants to escape the reality of her life and to just not exist. In real life, she feels bad about herself. She has no personality, no values, no achievements. But she doesn't want to think about that because she hates feeling like a failure, so she puts herself in this clubbing, partying environment where none of that matters."
