For FROST, I think with a mix of open source apps and attestable cloud enclaves it would be possible to provide a solution that abstracts the complexity away and also prevents the possibility of collusion. That'd be the holy grail.
For someone just wanting to sign something on iOS (all they ever use) then Aegis with URL scheme I think is enough, but apps would have to implement that URL scheme (even without it's sort enough).
Or download Keychat for iOS when approved (hopefully it gets approved!) and use Keychat as your browser. As long as you trust Keychat with your nsec then you don't have to worry about signing in to nostr web apps.
