TL;DR: Footguns and insane defaults in NAPS2. May roll back system to use manufacturer’s software in OSX Yosemite instead of NAPS2.
2) Metadata Woes
Since I am working in bulk with limited time, I planned to concentrate on scanning first, and once finished, pull the photos back out to collect the metadata (from the back of the photos).
Well, 450 photos later, pulling the photos back out to transcribe the metadata doesn’t seem like a great idea - both in terms of time, and extra handling.
