Narcissists will try to destroy us no matter what. We can't give in to enough, or stay, or leave and have them just move on. It's not easy for anyone to get out and leave, but it's always better than staying if you can leave. Don't spend time trying to defend yourself, but hold those boundaries no matter what you decide.
