Really liked the turbulence response. It wouldn't have been my instinct but thinking about it, I think it's correct. Pushing the nose down is going to increase speed which is offset by speed lost from the decrease in power. But the main benefit of pushing the nose down is reducing the wing load. Which creates buffer if you have another big bump.
