Zap started out as a lightning transaction on nostr, but just like every thing big, it gets co-opted to other stuff, just like all facial tissue gets called Kleenex or pop (soda for you non-Michiganders) gets called coke in the south… if other people want to use the term zap for other transactions, I sorta feel it’s a win for nostr’s branding department, now we just need to get the vp of marketing up to speed nostr:npub18ams6ewn5aj2n3wt2qawzglx9mr4nzksxhvrdc4gzrecw7n5tvjqctp424
