So, while its great news that Rough Trade is teaming up with John Lewis to stock vinyl records in their shops, a small warning for those looking to buy new presses of vinyl classics...
If you have got a cheap, turntable then you are not going to enjoy the great sound of vinyl however expensive your vinyl repress is.
Any HiFi will only give you sound as good as the turntable/cartridge at the front end feeds into the system.
Buying a cheap deck/cartridge is a false economy!
