We no longer have to spend time thinking about the Sen parliamentarian -Rs put that to bed last wk by overruling the par over whether a CRA res could nullify the EPA’s waiver allowing CA to set its own air pollut stands on vehicles.
Sen Lee: re these very EPA waivers, agreed: “fed preemption waivers can't be reviewed under the CRA.”
Sen R: “Tough, we’re doing it anyway.” Lee voted with them.
