I have two more options to add to the mix.
Let's redefine "Idiocracy" to mean rule by the most ignorant. I know Idiocracy has other definitions and connotations, but it could be a really useful word to use in this context.
The "Trump Dark Ages" could pack a rhetorical punch as well.
