One of the things my parents discussed over the years was how African Americans, as a people, were able to work for the government and become middle class. There was a steady paycheck that let people build a life and a flourishing community. The Great Recession of 2008 stripped away ALL Black wealth. Now, they’re going in for the Black kill. Get it yet?
