Technology is deflationary. Examples: Bitcoin make most banks, bankers and finance bros redundant. It makes enforcement of contracts algorithmic. It makes government deposit insurance ridiculous. It goes a long way towards making most governments unnecessary. That’s a lot of bright people freed from the golden handcuffs of the rentier class and empowered to go out and create value in the free market leading to even more deflation.
