yeah, if the money isn't coming from the customer then the customer is the product, that one
that is completely anathema to the whole basis of why nostr in the first place, yet here we are
i have been castigating client devs continuously for the last 16 months or so to actually implement auth and now even there is problems that the damn spec is ambiguous about state, which makes it a lot more complicated to implement for a RELAY developer like myself
never mind actually trying to use this for corporate communications where access control is not optional
clowns, the devs who get paid by opensats and HRF and jack are literally wantonly blind to the contradiction against the actual protocol being self-funding
