Not at all. But there are things to consider. You either should *really* know what you’re doing or use something like StartOS or Umbrel (I doubt they support anything apart from private relays so far).
The key point is to compartmentalize every app you run, so one can’t interfere with another. That way if one gets compromised, the attacker can’t steal your sats.
I actually ran into issues trying to run a relay on my Raspberry Pi locally - mainly due to complexities with ISP restrictions, port forwarding, etc., so I went with a VPS for a relay.
Haven is super lightweight, so you can spin it up in a Docker container on a VPS you run something else on (that’s what I’m doing now).
I’ll do my best to prepare a detailed guide on running Haven on a VPS this upcoming week.
