There‘s a free version of syncthing on Linux, but from my experience trying to synchronize between Linux & iPhone the problem lies with the folder on the iPhone wherein Obsidian puts the notes. I didn’t find any way to change from the default, and moebius only syncs its own folder (doesn’t permit selecting other folders to sync as well). I assume — correct me if I‘m wrong please — the root of this issue lies in the walled garden, plus Obsidian offers a service to sync via their own servers (for a couple of pounds a month)… Any suggestion on how to overcome the issue is greatly appreciated!
