That’s crazy. I pay $17 for a basic cut, which is bonkers, but I also understand that costs go up for everyone and he is only doing it so he is doesn’t lose money.
He does a really good job and even goes the extra mile to trim my nose hairs as well as eyebrows. It’s not much, but that little extra makes paying that much, that much more worthwhile and easier to digest.
Have you thought of trying some sort of giveaway or frequent customer cards? My thinking is, you can probably get away without having to claim anything on a specific customer if said customer hasn’t actually paid anything. Now, they would be expected to leave a tip, but it could be any amount they want. That would cut the government out of that transaction if they don’t know there was one.
Yeah, it’s shady, but so is the government.😁
