My short experience buying Bitcoin on HodlHodl has been eye-opening. As a newbie, I made some clumsy transactions, but they ended up fine. What surprised me most is that, while in the real world I’d be easy prey ("homo homini lupus"), in the Bitcoin ecosystem, I found complete strangers who were honest and helpful—when they could have easily taken advantage of my mistakes.
(That said, if you use HodlHodl, carefully follow the security guides and protocol steps.)
This is the opposite of my experience with banks, where I face delays, poor communication, and endless obstacles just to manage what I thought was "my money"—when in reality, it's just "money with permission to use."
The Bitcoin community has the power to shift the paradigm. Despite what mainstream media says, Bitcoin is built on mutual trust between sovereign individuals. That trust demands responsibility, awareness, and ownership of our decisions—both good and bad.
Good Nigth!
