Something I was reading randomly made me think of a penpal I had from maybe 10-12, and a few minutes later her name popped into my head.
We drifted out of writing on account of not actually having much in common — it was set up by our respective school teachers — and, iirc, me being frankly WTF when she sent me a photo proudly holding a My Little Pony (first edition) when I had grown out of them years before.
I idly searched for her name, and I’m pretty sure I now have her current address (it is insane how easy it is to find USA street addresses).
Send her a postcard with my email address, or just forget about it as we still probably have nothing in common and she’d only do that over-familiar rich USian thing and want to come and visit?
