We suggest using Opera as the browser, when you make a Home screen shortcut, the website functions as an app.
Between Samsung and Motorola devices, Samsung is preferred. We are unable to install any APK's on the Motorola device we had (Moto G).
Backing up and restoring will need to be covered in the future, but as of now the Share function for back ups is suggested.
