Venerable #Paraschiva, born in Epivat, near Constantinople, was known for her compassion and devotion to God from a young age. After her parents' death, she distributed her inheritance to the poor and sought refuge in a monastery, later embracing the solitary life in the Jordanian desert. Returning to her homeland, she reposed in peace and her relics are now venerated in Iași, #Romania, drawing pilgrims seeking healing and comfort. O, Venerable Paraschiva, intercede for us before God!
