I’m still pretty pumped about #nAuth. I got it all working on my proof of concept #nostr #safebox implementation, using different instances, different relays, including vpn-only accessible relays.
Now, I am focused on making it useful for securely transmitting health records, while keeping an eye out for more generalized infrastructure requirements.
Another thing I am excited about it, is #nembed - a way to transmit events as an bech32 encoded entities. This would be the ‘standard’ way to transmit NIP-82 health events, proposed by nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z (prescriptions, reports, etc).
In developing #nAuth, I am trying to bring forward useful elements from legacy protocols, namely, #oauth2 You can read the WIP, here.
