To those who tout that the God of Israel is someone you should praise and declare as “God” of your nation; well, he does love war, is jealous and a narcissist.
The Lord [YHWH] is a man of war;
the Lord [YHWH] is his name.

But I’d rather follow Jesus (Iēsous)s’ lead;
“You have heard that it was said [from YHWH], ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I [Jesus] say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven.”
- Matthew 5:43–45
Notice that Jesus (Iēsous) not only refers to YHWHs’ Law in the 3rd person, distancing himself from it, but directly infers its NOT from His Father at the end.
Jesus (Iēsous) never said that the God/Father of the Jews was His Father or himself.
