Folks like echo chambers.
We all fall into this trap at one time or another. It's always comforting to interact with others who align with our own world view.
And tribalism certainly has it's place. Unity is a good thing. But so is diversity. Individualism.
A proper balance allows us to maximize freedom while working together for a more prosperous life for our families.
All items that, to your point, aren't likely fixed by an algorithm but by changing/developing the hearts and minds of each individual.
