2025-05-15 23:36:45That's common enough in a Poisson distribution I believe. In fact, "clustering" is one of the counter-intuitive aspects of them that is often sited in stats classes. Eg, Geiger counters tend to make noises in bursts rather than 1 at a time spaced out nicely. Or rain drops on a roof tile when it's not raining too hard, tend to be 2,3,4 at "same time" rather than the strict average your intuition expects. Don't know record though
