This dark-coloured Japanese Quail hen has the phenotype:
Fawn-Enhanced Tuxedo Tibetan.

She has two copies of the Extended Brown gene which produces the Tibetan phenotype--lovely dark coloured feathers devoid of gold longitudinal center pinning (unlike the brown bird in the background).

The Fawn Enhancement component is the horizontal orange barring. It means they have the genes that produce the Fawn phenotype--the lighter-coloured birds in these images.

The Tuxedo gene that produces this white patching is just great.
It can be a tuxedo cut in any way.
But what happens when they wear two tuxedos at once?
