But Trump clearly has a vision of the world where the ideal situation is for him to be among a bunch of authoritarian leaders, each one surrounded by oligarchs who rely on him and support him. All the foreign leaders he supports are of that sort (Putin, Orban, Xi) and all the foreign leaders he attacks espouse democratic values (Zelensky, Trudeau, pretty much everyone in the EU except Meloni and Orban).
