A post about how much I like "Feather Wallet", which is without shitty web technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript and other shit you don't need for a desktop application, especially for Linux.
I'm pleasantly surprised with "Feather Wallet" for Monero. It feels professional and thoughtful for Linux users.
I use it as an .AppImage, and when I opened the wallet I saw that there is an update. I thought that when I click on "get update" it would just open my browser and Github to manually download the new .AppImage.
But no!
The wallet downloaded the latest update, in the same directory where the previous version was located. And all I did was replace the path in "KDE Menu Editor" with the new .AppImage version.
Yes, I still went to Github to check the GPG signature and the hashsum I needed 😅.
