I tried to share a screen recording but it was too large to upload to the free media servers.
Right now I don't think it is default on any client, except afaik, Primal does default to an algorithmic feed based on what it thinks are the most popular.
There is a list of DVMs you can send a request to (data vending machines) and you will get back a feed of notes to skim through.
Amethyst let's you use that to get a curated feed of notes:
