Another experiment with film photography. This Ricoh XR-1 originally belonged to my uncle. I've had it for a while but never used it until I decided to put a roll of film in it a couple of weeks ago. I don't know exactly how old this one is (the model was originally released in 1977) but it hadn't been used for at least 15 years. I had no idea if it was going to still work but gave it a good clean, put some new batteries in it at which point the light meter started working (it is fully manual operation apart with the batteries only used for the light meter). While the photos I took with it maybe aren't particularly exciting, it did prove that the camera works. The only thing I found didn’t work is the counter so it was hard to track how many photos I had taken. The film was Fujifilm C200. https://i.nostr.build/P8vS0l8dfkNJIhcc.jpg https://i.nostr.build/DsSECYSzueTKYyrh.jpg https://i.nostr.build/2cTXKGJ0QGVEO56l.jpg https://i.nostr.build/ctsKSRlYAJyn1HkT.jpg https://i.nostr.build/mqzntQ7vmLPOL0g3.jpg
