Venerable Gregory left his home, defying his parents' wishes for him to marry, seeking a life devoted to God. He wandered through many cities, facing trials and temptations with unwavering faith. Once, robbers attacked him, but Gregory's prayers caused them to flee in terror. He reached Constantinople, where he healed the sick and cast out demons through the power of prayer.
